AdMats is a proprietary consultancy service for R&D support. Its foremost aim is to participate in Application Development of New Materials Technologies using the Research Training gained over twenty years working in leading research organizations. Taking into account the constraints towards in-house development of new technologies in manufacturing industries in a developing country like India, the current services include Application Lab (i.e. experimentation with product specific goals) support.

Brief examples of interactions related to CVD & DLC projects as a consultant scientist

• Wendt (India) Ltd.   1997 Industrial consultancy for cutting tool application of diamond films. A pilot experiment  was set up at Wendt(India) Ltd., Hosur for diamond film deposition by hot filament CVD technique.
• CTI BHEL 1998 Interaction with Ceramic Technological Institute, BHEL, Bangalore  resulting in a small in-house effort for developing diamond films as a ceramic coating for  electronic applications.
• IISc-ISRO Involved in the initial phase (1999-2000) of ISRO funded project at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore for tribological applications of diamond films for space applications  .
• HHV Successful completion of a feasibility project (1999-2000) at Hind High Vacuum Co. (Pvt) Ltd, Bangalore by way of setting up of an in-house coating facility for diamond-like carbon film deposition using RF plasma CVD technique and developing a suitable in-house characterization scheme.

• Ducom Instruments DIPL Continuous interaction ( 2002 -2012 ) with Ducom Instruments Pvt Ltd. Bangalore as a Consultant for Application Lab experiments related to Tribotesting.
• Strayfield Heating Systems  (2006-07)  Setting up of experimental set up for  Microwave Processing of Materials.
